I am into the week two of my lunch box love notes and it is gaining momentum. My kids' friends start asking them during lunch time what is the joke / riddle from your mom today. I am not a funny person, but I am trying to reach out with a different love language. A baby step to show my motherly love in tiny ways. Now as my kids jump into my car when I pick them up, they would ask, "So what is the answer, mommy?" It is a great channel for us to have some common topics.

For those of you who are interested to get started, here are some of my tips.

- I use the Pokemon card sleeves to slide in each day's lunch box love note. At the end of the day, I pull the card out and save it in the trading card holders. It helps us keep things nice and organized.

- For the jokes and riddles, I mix and match through the websites that I found. They need to be brief enough to be able to fit in a small card. Below are some web sites for your reference.

- For the Bible verses, I also found a couple of sites to help me get stared. I don't use a new verse each day, instead, I elaborate on the verse and turn it into personalized prayer to bless my kids.

- There are also sets of pre-made lunch box love notes that are available. (see link below)
